Rap Wisdom
All lyrics were spontaneously freestyled in prayer for either the benediction at FreeChurch Toronto, or invocation before class at Heritage College & Seminary.
God, it's a fact that we once weren't your people
lacking circumcision.
It's a fact, but then you made a certain decision,
and you make an incision
and give us a new sign of the covenant called baptism,
where sin nature died,
and we can raise the blazing rap of wisdom.
Let us know that we live in Christ
and so do laps in him,
laughing at the powers and the authority,
because you're the only author for me.
So Lord God, let us know that we live in Christ
and so do laps in him as we call you.
Can you please take the volume and pump it,
because we know in the end, with the trumpets,
the good will be triumphant.
