Follow Repeatedly
All lyrics were spontaneously freestyled in prayer for either the benediction at FreeChurch Toronto, or invocation before class at Heritage College & Seminary.
Lord God, we were lost,
and we had to count the cost
of the disciple, and it's not trifle
because your Spirit can hit us like a rifle,
but your Spirit is so right, yo.
So we ask that we could respond like Andrew and a few
like the sons of Zebedee
immediately and repeatedly, expediently.
May we realize that though pride is hard to swallow,
when our hearts are hollow,
the best thing to do when we hear the call is follow.
Words by Cyril Guerette (Ill Seer).
