King of Nations - Psalm 2

“Now Lent is a time where we try to identify ourselves with Jesus. It's a period of around 40 days depending on how you measure it in the east or the west. But the reality is that this is about identifying ourselves with Jesus Christ as he spent 40 days in the desert, fasting, no food, no drink, and we remember also at Lent his journey towards the cross. And so we begin our journey towards the cross, towards Good Friday, towards Easter, and this means that we take up our cross and we journey with him in the Lent and season. And sometimes this involves fasting and prayer and other things. But the reality is that as we begin this journey, we're always keeping our eyes focused on Jesus, and that's why we want to begin a new series called Jesus Psalms. Because these are going to be Psalms that are predictive of Jesus. Some of them are written a thousand years before he even walked the earth, and yet we see Jesus. He is in the Psalms. He is a heartbeat in the Psalms.”
