Mission Rejected

"no prophet is accepted in his hometown."

“I think the first thing I want to point out is — we need to focus on the Father's love. God loves you. So when we're rejected — and this is hard — because sometimes God is, like, abstract, right? But it's actually the most concrete form of love. … And so he's able to sit in the love of God. So one of the things we have to work on at all times is to continue that relationship with the Father — to keep that love connection. … It doesn't destroy our hearts or souls. And I'm going to point this out here. I think part of the Father's love is the people that he provides you. Right?”
