A Train Wreck Named Samson

“The second thing I want to point out is, God still brings a positive outcome. I know it seems like a tragedy because we have Samson dead at the end of this scene. But what we've seen is the people of God are now being freed. … God is patient. He's there with us the last second, and he answers the prayer of Samson. Do you notice that? The very end. Despite everything that Samson's done, despite the fact that he turns back on God, despite the fact that he broke three of his vows. He was doing multiple things that were totally against the law of God, and God has the favor on Samson. God gives strength to Samson. God answers Samson, and so wherever you are in this process, and I've seen these things happen where people have weaknesses, maybe it's alcohol and they defeat it for a while and then they go back in it. comes back bigger than it was before. Wherever you are in that stage, God is there with you and for you.”
