Called for a Purpose - Genesis 12 - C. Gu\u00e9rette

“Wherever you are, God is still calling. He's calling you to himself. … He's calling us all together. There is a collective call. If you think about this and the New Testament, we are called the people of God. We are the new Israel, and we're called for a purpose. We are called the people of God for a purpose, and this is a collective calling together. Abraham was told he was going to bless many nations, and the way that was fulfilled was through Isaac and through many generations and the birth of Jesus Christ and the death of Jesus Christ and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. And now all nations are blessed through Abraham. But guess what? It continues because we as we claim Jesus Christ are now the people of God and we're still called to be the blessing that Abraham was told he was going to be. The people of God are continuing to bless all the nations, and that means you with your gifts in your local setting and beyond are called to be the people of God and to be a blessing to the world as the body of Christ.”
