Sermon series
Shaped by the Story
3 sermons by Rev. Dr. Cyril Guerette in the series Shaped by the Story, preached 2016, with audio and a quote from each.
The story of Scripture is one long narrative that shapes who we are as God's people. Over five weeks we trace that story through pivotal turning points: Abraham called for a purpose, Israel's exodus into the Promised Land, Daniel exiled yet faithful, John's vision of Jesus as Alpha and Omega, and two disciples meeting the risen Christ on the road to Emmaus. Each passage shapes our own story a little more, helping us see where we fit within the grand narrative God has been writing since Genesis.
