Summer Six Young Adults - ‘Science and Spirit, can they co-exist?’

“Science is not pro God or anti God in and of itself. It's just that it's literally a tool. I would say science is based in observation, which is something I believe God gave us to use to observe the world and understand it, and actually, I think Christianity makes more sense of why I would trust that than an atheistic worldview, which gives no reason for believing. Why would my five senses align with reality? It's just it's accidentally happened in the world just exploded and all of a sudden existed all of a sudden these creatures of all of them and their mind actually gives them reliable data from the universe. That seems like you have to trust that your mind accidentally evolved in line with the universe and it's not to see to you. That's not actually a reason to believe it. Whereas I say, God made me the mind to observe the world. It gives me a reason why I can actually have faith in my observation and my senses. So I don't I don't have to keep going on this conflict. There's a lot of conflict. I think we all could say we've seen the conflict between faith religion. The opposite view I've seen a lot of times, especially from like Christian apologists is faith is reason. It's the same thing. It's like basically if you reason you believe in God, of course. Like it's like you prove him scientifically that God exists, and I think myself that becomes problematic because faith is being able to believe in things that you don't see. That's literally what the Bible says faith is.”
