Hope of the Prophets - Luke 2:22-40

“Now, Advent is a time of waiting. … And so when we enter into Advent, we're entering into a time of waiting upon God for his expectant deliverance, and so this year when we talk about Advent, we're going to talk about Christmas character. And the reason I decided to choose that theme is because Christmas and Advent is always about four important character traits that each Christian is hoping to have, which is hope and peace and joy and love. These are all aspects of who Christ was, but they're all aspects of what we want to be waiting with. We want to be waiting with hope. We want to be waiting with peace, joy and love.”
