Fixed On Jesus: Abide In The Vine

“We need to remain in Jesus. We need to pull close. Why? So the Father receives glory. That's the whole point. When we make it our goal to give the God the glory, he answers this and he listens to us because he knows that our prayers and our petitions are cries out to him are all to give him glory. They're not just for selfish reasons. … God himself. So what does this mean? Well, it means that we need to be discipling. We need this fruit to show up in our discipleship. Jesus is looking for the fruit. He wants to show off what we look like. As a Father love me. So I love you now. Remain in my love. Keep my commandments. Abide in my love. Just like I kept the Father's command. I have told you that this is so. you may have joy that your joy may be complete. This is what happens when we make God's glory, our glory. We start to receive joy. As we keep connected to Jesus, we receive joy. It's the result of all of this. It's like you have a lifeline of Jesus. His love flows into you. It brings with it a sense of joy.”
