The New Deal #2: The Monster Within

“So you are not in the realm of flesh, my friends. You are in the realm of Spirit, and we need to allow this connection with the Spirit to become apt, up, step by step, we need to do this, because the body is subject to sin and death, but the Spirit is alive and righteousness. Even though you have this sin and death fighting within you, Jesus is fighting for you and who is stronger? Christ or sin? Well, we are not going to escape the battle. So don't seek an easy way out. This life is a battle, but don't give up. You can see the victory, the flood of sugary sin and death is being cleaned up. The smell might still be there from time to time, but Jesus is winning in you. Have hope. There's a fight going on within you, but the Spirit will beat death, just like it beat death after the cross. He came over death. He beat death. This means he is already overcoming law of sin and death within you.”
