Anatomy of a Sluggard - Proverbs 26:13-19

“Finish what you start, Ask yourself, do I procrastinate? And if you do, say to yourself, does that mean that there's a sluggard that lives inside of me? And if you do, then ask yourself, does God want me to weed that out? Finish what you start, complete the process, and this is a very spiritual lesson. Let me ask you a question. Did you put your hand in the bowl of faith? Did you claim to follow Jesus Christ? Did you claim that you wanted to live your life after him? Did you stick your hand in the bowl of faith? If so, how have you brought your hand up to your mouth? Have you actually followed up this first confession of faith by putting your hands where your mouth is? How are you living out? You confess faith practically. See, true Christianity, this means tapping into the wisdom of Christ. In fact, we see in Paul tells us that Christ is the wisdom of God, and this means that we're following the wisdom of God, we're following Christ, that we're going to have to pick up and do what we say we want to do.”
