His Kingdom Come: Jesus in Vegas (Psalm 110)

“Those who are baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit are a raid in holy majesty. Worship his majesty. They are baptized in white. They're clothed in holiness. Even as one day they will be clothed with white robes. They will be raised in power from the depths of death. In fact, all Christians stand willing and able with a salute and an all hail the commander of peace. See, first three tells us that the young people will come to God even as the do. They will follow the king and be refreshing to him. Isn't that awesome? We're refreshing to God. Even as we are refreshed, as we're dipped in the water, as we enter the holy order and become part of the holy people, so the refreshing do in the morning of the Lord is ourself. We are refreshing to God, just as we are refreshed in baptism. We are like a cool dip in the lake on a hot summer night to our God. Amen. When we're baptized, we are newly born of Christ. He sees us in the strength of our spiritual youth. He sees us making a statement that we are ready. We are willing and we are able to serve the king of peace, the priest of peace. So you see, if we realize and we start to reflect in the psalm, we see also that this isn't just a king.”
