Year Without Walls

4 sermons by Rev. Dr. Cyril Guerette in the series Year Without Walls, preached 2017, with audio and a quote from each.

One of the five key values we have at ForestView is that of Inclusion. The Gospel declares boldly that all are part of the family of God and able to be transformed through the innerworking of the Spirit. The ministry of Jesus was defined by his welcoming hospitality to outcasts, rebels, and misfits. A doctor who came to heal the sick, Jesus touched the “untouchables”, ate with sinners, and even called disciples who were on the fringes, both zealots and tax collectors. As we begin to explore a Year Without Walls for our 25th Anniversary, we kick things off by delving into Scriptures that break down the walls between God and humanity, young and old, man and woman, religious and skeptic. What does it look like to truly be a Church Without Walls? Join us from wherever you are, as we come with all our differences, held together by the centre, Jesus Christ, who calls everyone to a life of fullness and community as we follow him.
