Proclaim: Adventures in Storytelling
1 sermon by Rev. Dr. Cyril Guerette in the series Proclaim: Adventures in Storytelling, preached 2016, with audio and a quote from each.
When Jesus last spoke to his disciples he charged them to go and tell the Good News, making disciples locally (Jerusalem), nationally (Judea & Samaria), and globally (to the ends of the earth). We will explore how the church is to share the Good News of Jesus in each of these spheres, with some help from the Lausanne Movement Canada and Voice of the Martyrs. What does the local mission look like? How do we reach our great country of Canada? What can we do for our brothers and sisters persecuted for their faith across the globe? May we unite as Christians and churches to complete the great worldwide mission Jesus gave to us!
