Imagine God actually decided to become one of us. He entered the world as a baby and grew up in a neighbourhood and learned the culture and customs of the people he lived with. Then imagine this human had a best friend. What would this friend say about getting to know the God of the Universe in human flesh? Explore with us one of the most influential chapters in the entire New Testament - John 1. John more than the other Gospels has a unique view of Jesus. The latest written of the Gospels and using metaphorical - almost mystical - language, John calls us to see that in Jesus we are seeing all God is in the flesh. Just as our words reveal our mind and heart, Jesus reveals the mind and heart of God. He is not contained by our model of him - he is enigmatic. We never fully understand him; there is room for wonder, there is mystery.
