All Things New
3 sermons by Rev. Dr. Cyril Guerette in the series All Things New, preached 2018, with audio and a quote from each.
It is easy to make the mistake of thinking that because our God is the Ancient One, that means he is somehow archaic. The God of the Scriptures is constantly doing and making new and beautiful things. He is living and active in the present moment and always on the lookout to make things fresh and new. To kick off the new year we enter into a series celebrating that God is doing something new and exciting in our midst. Even as we celebrate the 25 years of ForestView church, we do so not out of nostalgia, but to hear the voices of those who experienced God sending out faithful families to do a new work. God has made each follower of Jesus into a New Creation and is using us to speak Good News to new neighbours as we sing a New Song celebrating who he is and what he is doing. Join us as we listen to Jesus’ voice from the throne declaring, “Behold I make all things new!” (Rev. 21:5)
