The Existence of God (Westside Church)

“Now I think we can help them overcome their disbelief by arguments and logic and such. At some point, they need to step forward in faith and go, I love you. God, and they do that by seeing us love God and us love them. They're going to deny the truth that their own existence points to God, that their morality points to God. This is part of what he was. They deluded themselves. This is what the Bible tells us. We all done it at times, We show that God exists by the way that we live our lives in Jesus Christ. The story of the burning bush, the way that God showed himself in the end is by loving them. And the way that the Israelites were meant to show God's existence to the world was by showing His love, which was completed in Jesus Christ, who died for all of us, the greatest expression of love possible, a supernatural expression of love that resonates in people's hearts. And when they see it actually demonstrating itself through the Holy Spirit within you, God himself living out of you, that is how people start to know that God exists. There's some great logicians, great strong arguments of who God is, that are just jerks, How is anyone going to experience God that way? Sometimes we just need to recognize that God is mysterious and wonderful.”
