Guard your Heart: Proverbs 4:23

“Plant the word in your heart. It helps create protections. I would say memorize Scripture. Find ones that stick in your heart. Jesus is the word and He has given us the word. So read your Bibles. I know you've been giving great tools to do so. You keep that up, Get into the word for real. Not just saying it, but it's urgent. You cannot guard your heart if you do not have the word of God in your heart. It's like a protection mechanism that's already built in. It's like you're training yourself with like a heart, martial art. That's what the word does. The second thing is also on your values list, which I loved, is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit created me in new heart, oh God. Get rid of my heart of stone, my hard heart. Give me a heart of flesh. God will guard your heart himself by His Holy Spirit if you let him. You've got like the ultimate watchdog, the Holy Spirit. That will send you often little reminders. Watch out for that. Watch out for that. You get these picks of your conscience. You get the Holy Spirit speaking.”
