Lord of Love - Psalm 103
“I think about how you love your children, This is how God loves you. I love this picture of this compassionate God who loves his children. He knows how we're formed. He remembers that we're dust. The life of mortals are like grass. They flourish like a flower in the field. The wind blows over and it's gone and its place remembers them no more. We're fleeting bunches, humans. But from everlasting to everlasting, the Lord's love is with those who fear him. His love isn't done with you, even when you're in the grave. Wherever you are, he loves you, and his righteousness is with their children's children. I love this passing down of the love. … I'm hoping the best for them, and he's I love you and my love passes on. Think about that. Some of you are grandparents. So don't only do you love your children, you love your children's children. That's how God feels about you. He loves you and your children. I think that's your own children, but also spiritual children, people that you care about. He loves who you love.”Browse the full sermon archive →
