Prince of Peace - Psalm 45

“What I find really interesting is, Jesus seems to model part of what he's doing, off of what was called the peace offering. … And Jesus is basically offering himself up as a peace offering here. Peace between God and peace between our fellow humans. We're loving God and we're loving our fellow church believers, because we are gathering as the body of Christ, receiving the body of Christ. For humanity was that enmity with divinity. We spat in his face and we despised his guidance. … The son, God himself, the word, entered into human flesh as a baby, and he came to bring peace.”
