Armour of God 3: The Shield of Faith

“Notice what faith does. It extinguishes the arrows of the evil one. This is why it's so important. The world is controlled by an egotistical maniac who wants us to bow down to him and to ignore God, and he has an entire force that works for him and trying to continually test our faith. Just like he tested Jesus himself in the desert, we have this force trying to wage war against us. But by putting our faith in the only one, his son and the Spirit of Truth, we put out the fires that are trying to attack our hearts. The whole system, by the way, is designed to push you away from trusting in God, and when moments like this come up, one of the greatest dangers is panic. When people panic, they do evil things. We need to keep the faith. It's so important. This can protect us from ruin.”
