Acts 2 22-36 - EASTER
“He is saying this because he wants you to recognize that he used your sin to bring a king to the world who will rid the world of sin and bring peace, and then what do the people do when they hear this? What do we do? Well, it is very clear what happens with Peter. He says, when the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and they said to Peter and the other apostles, brothers, what shall we do? What are we going to do now? Peter replied, repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Wow. How do you respond to Easter? You make sure that you respond personally to King Jesus. Repent of your sin and claim Jesus is king. That's the response. That's the Easter message. Remember Jesus is king.”Browse the full sermon archive →
