Aces

Ill Seer's verses, from his own typed Early Poems file. Sketchy Duo Program, Skeletal Decibels (2005), with Shinobi.

Listen:
how about i pull the aces? full of embraced bitterness, pity this pitter patter of phatter data than the putty of a pipefitter’s cruddy tool box. fools box with the ginger lox and linger longer than i ponder ponds for people’s despondent tears, i wish i was stronger than the fears i have of not loving enough to shove the bluff to the side, but pride strides with bonafide abundance, sins by the hundreds, the hunt begins for a hun who wins the hug of holy matrimony. those of you who know can bestow me this one grace, be true to my face, friend or foe, My end is what i want to taste, to flaunt the flight fraught with naught but waste, I respond with a preponderance of wondrous grace, amazing grace. I’m facing a trace of true being, seeing the fleeing truth that proof aloofly loses, but such abuse refuses to recant with scant chance that we will dance advance. from SUPERIORbelly Compilation, Skeletal Decibels “Aces” (SuperiorBelly, 2005).

Words by Cyril Guerette (Ill Seer). Credits: (vocals Ill Seer, Status, Shinobi) (prod. Savilion)
