The New Deal
3 sermons by Rev. Dr. Cyril Guerette in the series The New Deal, preached 2018, with audio and a quote from each.
God has cut a New Deal with his people — a new covenant written not on stone but on the heart (Jeremiah 31), freeing us from the death grip of sin and law (Romans 7). Over seven weeks we traced this New Deal from its promise through the Last Supper's new covenant meal, to Pentecost's outpouring of the Spirit, to Jesus' new commandment to love one another, to the Sermon on the Mount's new law for the heart — finishing in a vision of God making all things new, starting with us.
