State of the Union

3 sermons by Rev. Dr. Cyril Guerette in the series State of the Union, preached 2021, with audio and a quote from each.

When we follow Jesus we are given a new life through the Holy Spirit. For many Christians however, things grow stagnant spiritually, and the great gains made early on seem to wane. For three weeks we will delve into the stages of following Jesus: putting off the old life, putting on the new life, and finally experiencing union with Christ. This process of purgation, enlightenment, and union allows us to see the progress of transforming into the person that God intends us to be. When we see where we are meant to end up, it can really help motivate us to pursue our journey with Jesus to the fullest.
