Prophet Prayer

6 sermons by Rev. Dr. Cyril Guerette in the series Prophet Prayer, preached 2021, with audio and a quote from each.

In ancient times God spoke to his people through his servants, The Prophets. These were powerful people who discerned God’s will in times of crises, and who cried out to God to act on behalf of His People. Join us as we explore some of the powerful prayers found in the Hebrew Scriptures that show us who God is, and how we are to relate to him. From Elijah crying out to start and stop rain, to Jonah in the midst of the dark ocean, to Daniel in the midst of the Lion’s Den, we see in vivid detail how those whom God spoke to, spoke to God.
