Holy Folly
2 sermons by Rev. Dr. Cyril Guerette in the series Holy Folly, preached 2019, with audio and a quote from each.
To the world, the way of Jesus can look like foolishness — but it's a holy folly that turns the wisdom of this age on its head. Over seven weeks we explored the countercultural values of the Kingdom: becoming fools for Christ, refusing the games of prestige and reputation, forgiving without limit, holding money loosely, relinquishing power rather than grasping for it, and the audacious, old-fashioned virtue of chastity — discovering we're not meant to walk this folly alone, but as a spiritual family taking up our cross together.
