Grounded In Scripture

3 sermons by Rev. Dr. Cyril Guerette in the series Grounded In Scripture, preached 2020, with audio and a quote from each.

Although most churches today would acknowledge the authority of Scripture for the faith life of every Christian, it is surprising how little we know and understand how they came to be, and the way we are to use them for understanding God and living our lives. Building on the foundation of Christ’s understanding of the authority of the Old Testament and his promise that the Holy Spirit would lead his Apostles into all truth, we explore one of the core values of Groundswell Church - being Grounded in Scripture. Journey with us through the remarkable story of how God brought this holy book together, and how we can trust it to guide and shape our lives.
