“But the important thing is that you don't just look for hope. … He wants to see your hope in action that you truly have faith in him. You are asked to act in hope. To actually move and take action based upon the hope that you have in God. … But more than that, when you see this beam of a gleam of hope, just act on it. Notice these two women, they're not just waiting around for something to happen. What they do is when they see opportunities arise, when a little piece of hope pops up, they act. … This is where Ruth's mother-in-law Naomi starts to recognize, wait a second, there's something going on here. We gotta take advantage of the hope that God has put in front of us. We gotta act on this hope.”
