We Are Sorry For End Times Hysteria

Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death.

“We need to be the ones who are giving people a positive picture, giving people hope. And what we're doing is fearmongering the whole time. It's not helping. What we should be showing them is the hope we have in Jesus. Eschatology is the study of the last things, and it is important, but it's not all important. We can't throw the baby with the bath water, but we can't get obsessed. We need to keep an eye on what's happening, to determine the spirit of Antichrist as it's at work. Someday, there will be some Christians who will be there when the Antichrist is revealed. The only hope then, it's going to be to deny the lie — yet to deny it — and just wait for Jesus to come and destroy the Antichrist. But even then, we're going to have to keep on with our normal lives, working, eating, having confidence in Jesus. What he's doing is, he has a plan. There's going to be victory for him. Because whoever the Antichrist is, he will not win. We just need to simply stay calm and carry on with Jesus. Keep an eye out. Don't be deceived by the hucksters with all their predictions. Or by the Antichrist who wants to take away your Christian convictions.”
