Grew in Wisdom and Stature

Every year Jesus' parents went to Jerusalem for the Festival of the Passover. When he was twelve years old, they went up to the festival, according to the custom. After the festival was over, while his parents were returning home, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem, but they were unaware of it. Thinking he was in their company, they traveled on for a day.
— Luke 2:41–52
“So wisdom is about you growing in your healthy habits, and your ways of being. The more — as you grow — wisdom — it's — as you start to apply the wisdom of scripture into your life — making it part of it — you grow in wisdom. That's what — it's not one-to-one correspondence. … And part of that is going to be what's been happening every year as they grow that extra year. You see the kids — we don't see it ourselves sometimes, right? … Wisdom is — is exponential. I think it's one of those things where — you got a little wisdom when you're, like, six — you start to learn a principle — like — oh — be kind to people. If that keeps growing in you — by the time you're thirty, you're a wonderful woman, or man. And by the time you're fifty, you're beloved by a community. … It grows on top of itself.”
