“We need to look at everything that's happening in our society, and we have to give, as the people of God, we have to give both warnings and pictures of hope. We have to shout out and scream out about the injustice we see. The depravity of war, and at the same time, we have to look and we have to give a picture of peace everlasting. The beauty of the hope of God manifesting himself amongst the people, and I think we need to see the same principle in our own lives. We look at it on a big scale, but also ourselves. … If God was going to speak to you right now, at this moment, who's going to speak into your heart, maybe when you go up a community and you can think about this, would it be good cop or bad cop that you need to hear? … All we hear is the judgment of God. just keep hearing the crushing weight of our own depravity.”
