Love God, Love Others

“We love God because he first loved us. He's given us an ability. He's come into us, and now we can love him back. If he gives us the love to love him with, then that love is an infinite divine love that we can return. We can love our enemies because God loved us when we were enemies. So do you hate yourself? I'm gonna say, you won't overcome that until you love God more than yourself. And only God can give you the love to love him more than yourself. Do you hate the way that you treat other people? That's not gonna change until you start to love other people by letting God start to correct the prejudices in your heart. Learn to love God so passionately that you will love other people more than you love your self-hate or your hate of others. Your inner critic and cynic-skeptic is a sinner and it's septic. Let God correct it. Love God and let his love flow through you. Accept it. Expect it. You'll start looking in the mirror and you'll finally respect it. The love of God. No more games and politics. No more name-calling and folly. Love. Love God. Love others. The way of Jesus calls for it. It demands it. The Holy Spirit is implanted.”
