Babel - Genesis 11 (David & Cyril Tagteam)

“That's the hope for us all right there. That's why we don't despair for cities or churches or families. Because when our city isn't right, when we aren't feeling good in our own family, our own church, our own neighborhood, or the society, our own workplace, and one day maybe when we're lying awake worrying about our baby boy or our baby girl in a big dark world, well that's when we remember that on Pentecost when the Spirit came, everyone understood everyone else. That's when we get to celebrate because we realize we're living in the anti-babbling. That's when we get to celebrate because we realize that in Jesus Christ, with the Spirit of Jesus Christ, we can agree. In Jesus Christ, we can manifest God's love to one another. In Jesus Christ, we don't have to be angry, and opposing, and against, and fragmented, and apart, and misunderstood, and scattered. Instead, we can love, and listen, and understand, and be understood, and be together.”
